INPIM-Nepal has access to a large network of national partner institutions and professionals associated to a government agencies and non-governmental organizations. Some of the partner institutions include Farmer Managed Irrigation Systems Promotion Trust [FMIST], National Federation of Irrigation Water Users Association Nepal [NFIWUAN], Water and Energy Commission Secretariat [WECS], Nepal Engineering College [NEC], Jalsrot Vikash Sanstha [JVS - Association of Water Resources Development], Society of Irrigation Engineers [SIREN], International Water Management Institute Nepal [IWMI Nepal] and Department of Irrigation [DOI].
INPIM actively participates in the networking activities of these institutions that pull together the intelligence and expertise of private, academic, non-governmental and community sectors, and thereby engagements in PIM beneficially rewarding to those involved.
INPIM-Nepal encourages participation of farmer irrigators and their user organizations in the development discourse and exchanges, thereby working as a bridge for exchanges across farmers, government agencies, development organizations and water professionals.
Apart from these, INPIM Nepal has also developed linkages with international oraganizations working in the field of water. These include organizations like: Center of Excellance in Water Resources (CEWRE), Lahore, Pakistan; International Center for Integrated Mountain Development (ICIMOD), Kathmandu, Nepal; UNESCO-IHE, the Netherlands; etc.
